What is Tiktaka?
If you look to the right hand side you will see a completed Tiktaka puzzle.
As you can see Tiktaka consists of two separate grids. Each grid is made up of exactly the same set of shapes but fitted together in different ways.
In each grid we have a path that passes through each shape exactly once. Importantly you should notice that the route passing through identical shapes looks the same.
To illustrate this, take a look at how the path moves through the L-shape made from 3 blocks. It enters through one of the ends and then immediately leaves after a right-angled turn. Try it with the other shapes, you may need to rotate or reflect the shapes in your head but you should see that they all look the same.
It is as simple as that. The actual puzzle is presented in the form of two grids where the ends of the paths are provided. Some paths inside the grids may also be present. Hover over the grid to see the starting puzzle.
